About Stephanie
Graduating from the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine (now CCHM) in 2009, I feel more passionate that ever about the work that I do. Prior to my homeopathic studies, I acquired a Bachelor’s Degree at York University, majoring in Anthropology. While studying at York U, I received a membership to the Toronto and Region Conservation for The Living City after participating in an archeological dig at Boyd Conservation Area. Her final thesis to her Anthropological studies was a short study on Homeopathic Medicine and this was the first true glimpse into homeopathy.
I am very passionate that we should all achieve and maintain health naturually. As such, healing from within outwards is important and that is why I chose Homeopathy, for myself and to share with others. I am also a strong advocate for prevention and hope to teach my patients that suppression of illness through non-holistic approaches in not a cure or a path to whole health. I do practice what I preach, as they say. I eat a balanced and healthy diet, avoiding wheat and dairy, added or processed sugars, harmful chemicals and preservatives; I shop around the edges of my grocery store and stick closely to the organic isles. Most importantly I really listen to my body, as we are all different. I also, practice yoga, because I work 5-6 days a week sitting for long hours. Yoga helps me relax, stretch and feel great. When I can squeeze it in I also jog and cycle and I love to play baseball and soccer. Being healthy, requires maintenance and that is really what prevention is. I live by it and I feel the benefits.
I am currently practicing at BLUEPRINT Wholistic Health Clinic, in Davisville and have been working with the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) since 2010, which is the longest running homeopathic school in Canada, as Marketing & Communications. I have practiticed at Wellness WORx, in Toronto, and at Acupuncture & Wellness, in Mississauga.
Homeopathy is my second passion. My first is to help people; the safest way I know how. Subsequently, my second passion became my first passion.
